New Fleet Vehicles:
The Authority recently solicited quotes for the purchase of new fleet vehicles.
The BHA received a total of 3 quotes.
Fleet vehicles were purchased on the NC State Fleet Program using HUD awarded 2015 Capital Funds. Revised 2015 Capital Fund budget was approved by the Board of Commissioners at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Thursday, March 17th, 2016
The BHA purchased 3 vehicles from 2 dealerships:
Stevenson Cheverolet had the low quote for 2 full-time maintenance vehicles, 2016 Cheverolet Silverados: $37,793.78
Stevenson Cheverolet had the high quote for trade-in allowance (fair market value) on 2 2005 Ford F150s.
Stevenson Toyota had the low quote for 1 Capital Project/Management vehicle, 2016 Toyota Tacoma: $27,000.00
Stevenson Toyota had the high quote for trade-in allowance (fair market value) on 1 2005 Ford Explorer.
Capital Projects Director, Russ Davis has implemented a comprehensive maintenance and upkeep program which should allow the Authority many years of productive use in these vehicles.
